About
I am a Senior Clinical Psychologist with Seattle Christian Counseling in Mill Creek, with more than 20 years of experience providing professional counseling and psychological services to adults.
At different times in our lives, all of us can benefit from encouragement, a fresh perspective, practical tools, new direction, and a renewed sense of hope. You may be navigating anxiety or depression, a difficult relationship, parenting challenges, trauma or loss, a major health concern, caregiver responsibilities, work stress, or simply a season when life feels overwhelming.
Whatever brings you to counseling, you do not have to navigate it alone. I would be honored to walk alongside you as you gain greater understanding, develop practical skills, discover your strengths, and pursue meaningful and lasting change.
My Goal as a Christian Counselor
My goal as a Christian psychologist is to provide compassionate, evidence-based care while honoring the importance of faith in the healing process.
I strive to create a warm, comfortable, and nonjudgmental environment where you can speak openly about your experiences, questions, struggles, and hopes. Together, we can explore what is keeping you stuck, identify your strengths and resources, and develop practical steps toward greater emotional, relational, and spiritual well-being.
For clients who desire it, I enjoy helping them deepen their relationship with God, explore His purposes for their lives, and draw upon their faith as a source of hope, wisdom, resilience, and restoration.
I will meet you where you are in your faith journey. Christian counseling is not about having all the answers or being in a particular place spiritually. It is about creating room for God to be part of the conversation as we work together toward your goals.
What I Offer as a Christian Counselor
I combine my experience as a clinical psychologist with evidence-based treatment approaches, practical problem solving, and a strengths-based perspective. Therapy is collaborative, and I will honor the goals that are important to you while helping you develop clear, realistic next steps.
I currently work with adults ages 18 and older. My clinical work includes:

- Spiritual growth and development
My Counseling Approach: What to Expect in Therapy
I practice an integrative approach to therapy, meaning that I do not expect you to fit into a single therapeutic model. Instead, I draw from different evidence-based approaches according to your needs, strengths, circumstances, and goals.
Depending on what will be most helpful to you, our work may incorporate:
- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
- Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
- Mindfulness
- Strength-Based Therapy
- Solution-Focused Therapy
- Positive Psychology
- Resilience training
- Principles from the Science of Well-Being
- Practical skills coaching and problem solving
I especially enjoy translating psychological concepts into practical strategies that you can use in everyday life. Therapy can certainly be a place for reflection and deeper understanding, but I also want our work together to help answer the question: “What can I do next?”
Faith can be incorporated into counseling to the degree that it is meaningful and helpful to you. This may include exploring Scripture, prayer, your relationship with God, spiritual growth, purpose, hope, forgiveness, or other matters of faith. I am also happy to pray with you if you would find prayer helpful.

More About Me
I am the proud mother of two wonderful adult children. Both are kind and caring people who are pursuing their own callings, one as an engineer and the other in medicine.
Outside of my professional life, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, gardening, and tackling home renovation projects.
Both personally and professionally, I have come to appreciate that growth rarely occurs in a perfectly straight line. Life brings seasons of joy, challenge, change, loss, rebuilding, and renewal. Wherever you may find yourself today, I believe there can be room for hope, growth, healing, and a meaningful next step.
